Skiing, SnowboardingThe great location of the Simonyhof near the ski circuit Radstadt-Altenmarkt in the Ski Amadé ski area makes skiing and snowboarding double the fun. A free ski bus transports our guests 4x a day to the valley station of the Königslehen, with its cable car and well-prepared pistes. Free wi-fi throughout the whole of the Ski Amadé! |

Floodlit Fun Court
The wooden enlosed Fun Court right by the Youth Hostel can also be used in winter. There's great fun to be had after the evening meal in the snow by floodlight. How about a game of snow volleyball or snow soccer? Challenge your teachers to a game! |

Saucer sleds & snow tubesHave you ever whizzed down a snowy slope on a heavy-duty lorry inner tube? What great fun. Have a go own or with friends - but beware the tubes are difficult to steer. Right behind the Simonyhof there's a gentle hill which is great for sledging down. By the way we also have plastic saucer sleds for the less daring. |

Cross Country Skiing
Beginners and advanced cross country skiers alike will find well-groomed trails leading right past the Simonyhof. When the sun's shining and the snow crunches underfoot, it's just glorious gliding gently through the countryside. Healthy activity in unspoilt nature is just magic. A network of 220 km of groomed trails are available for skaters and gliders. |

Winter FunYou can romp around safely in the snow well away from busy roads and traffic There's plenty of space. The only important thing is to wrap up warm and then you can head off outdoors in the fresh air. Why not build a giant snowman or enjoy a fun snowball fight? |
